Safe Banking – Cyber Security Awareness

At Santsopankaka Sahakari Bank Ltd., the security of our customers’ financial information is our highest priority. We encourage all customers to follow safe banking practices while using mobile banking, ATMs, or any digital banking services.

Protect Your Credentials

Customers should never share confidential banking information with anyone. This includes:

  • Mobile banking User ID or Password
  • ATM / Debit Card PIN
  • OTP (One Time Password)
  • CVV number on your card
  • Net banking transaction passwords

Note: The bank will never ask for such information through phone calls, SMS, email, or social media.

Phishing & Fraud

Fraudsters may send emails or messages pretending to be from the bank and ask you to:

  • Update your account information
  • Reset your password
  • Verify your account details
  • Click on suspicious links

ATM & Debit Card Safety

  • Do not share your ATM PIN with anyone
  • Always cover the keypad while entering your PIN
  • Do not accept help from strangers at ATMs
  • Immediately report if your card is lost or stolen
  • Check your account statements regularly

Mobile Banking Safety

  • Download apps only from official app stores
  • Do not install unknown or third-party apps
  • Keep your mobile device protected with a PIN or biometric lock
  • Do not store banking passwords in your phone

Report Suspicious Activity Immediately

If you notice any suspicious activity in your bank account or suspect fraud, please report it immediately to the bank. Prompt reporting can help prevent financial loss.
